About us:
Little High eatery, the home to 11 family run restaurants in the city centre, sharing 400 indoor and outdoor seatings and providing Christchurch local and travellers the best food and drinks experience 11am-10pm 362 days a year.
We are looking for Part time, Full-time wait teams running the floor available to start now and over summer (with potential for more hours for the right candidate)

Little High Eatery, Christchurch's premier dining destination, is looking for passionate and reliable Wait Staff to join our vibrant team. If you have a love for great food, great service, and great people, we want to hear from you!
Guest-First Service: Providing a warm, welcoming, and professional experience from the moment guests while making sure the whole venue is clean and tidy, sections topped up and not afraid of lots of walking around.
Efficient Operations: Managing table turnover efficiently while never compromising on the quality of customer care. You'll keep your section clean, tidy, and ready for the next party.
Team Support: Working collaboratively in our high-traffic food hall environment by assisting with clearing tables, resetting stations, and supporting your colleagues.
Menu Expert: Developing a strong knowledge of our diverse 10+ vendor offerings to confidently answer guest questions and make recommendations.
About You: The Perfect Fit
We are looking for someone who brings a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. The successful candidate will have:
A genuine, customer-focused attitude with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
The ability to stay calm, organised, and efficient during busy rushes.
A strong team spirit – you're reliable, communicative, and happy to help wherever needed.
A willingness to learn our standards and procedures.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Previous experience in hospitality (a bonus, but not essential – we value the right attitude above all!).
