There’s something about a hot bowl of soup on a winter’s day that makes you stop and feel grateful.
Grandma’s chicken soup. Warm bread. A quiet lunch. I’m lucky and I know it.
Venezuela needs us more than ever. Due to the two massive earthquakes a few days ago, over 1.8 million people need humanitarian assistance, including 680,000 children and hospitals, homes and schools have collapsed across multiple cities. (Info from UNICEF USA)
And this is on top of an existing crisis, before the earthquakes, more than 8 million people in Venezuela already needed humanitarian assistance.
This video isn’t about guilt. It’s about awareness. I’m sitting here warm, fed, safe and I want to use that moment to say: we can do something.
If you’re here in New Zealand, there are ways to help. 🔗I’ve put two donation links in my BIO.
Be grateful. Be generous. Be aware.
