FOUR WHOLE YEARS OF DUNE!

Four years of absolutely winging it.�Four years of “she’ll be right.”�And somehow… she has been.

And who would have known what Dune had in store...
Not just a café, but a family ,or a second home to some. Not just a place to come for kai, but a place to meet your people, have a yarn, and feel like you belong.

A million blocks of butter, enough coffee beans to bury Brighton, a blue heeler, a baby, moments of madness, a few minor meltdowns, and a whole lot of laughs with the most magical humans. Just our kind of recipe, one without any measurements🤎

And then there are the amazing humans I get to work alongside. The ones who have listened to my wild ideas, rolled with the chaos, laughed until our stomachs hurt, and somehow made even the hardest days feel lighter.
Dune would not be Dune without you. Not even close.

You’ve poured the coffees, cooked the kai, cleaned up Rivers half eaten mango trail and solved the problems I couldn’t.
But more than that, you’ve poured a little bit of yourselves into this place. You’ve helped create the feeling, the energy, the laughs and the love that people walk through the doors for.

It’s so much more than I ever could have imagined. To be part of something that feels this special, this community, this seaside, and this ever-growing whānau.

To our epic team, our rad regulars, the kids who’ve grown up with us, the doggos who head straight for the cookie jar and a pat, and every single person who has walked through our doors…

Thank you for supporting us, laughing with us, celebrating with us, and being apart of the magic!

🚨 Urgent Donations Needed 🚨

The need in our community continues to grow, and right now we need your help.

We currently have:
🧥 6 children waiting for size 5 winter clothing
👶 4 babies on our waitlist because we have no newborn clothing available

Our shelves are empty of these essential items, and we're now running critically low on almost everything we accept.

We urgently need:
👕 Clothing in all sizes (especially newborn and size 5)
👟 Children's shoes
🧸 Toys
📚 Books
🛏️ Sleepsacks
🍼 Nappies
🧻 Baby wipes
🪥 Toothbrushes
🦷 Toothpaste
🛁 Baby and children's bath products

Donations are heading straight back out the door almost as quickly as they arrive.

In the past month alone we've received 120 applications for support, with 18 new applications in less than one week. Every donation you make goes directly to a local family who needs it.

Our Brighton Hub will be operating on limited opening hours over the next two weeks, but the need doesn't slow down for the families we support.

If you have any of the items above that your family has outgrown or you can purchase an extra item during your next shop, we would be so incredibly grateful. Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference.
