The Mugen Sushi brand was founded in Christchurch in 2016, when we opened our very first store — Mugen Sushi Moorhouse.
Ten years later, Mugen Sushi has grown to four Christchurch locations: Moorhouse, CBD, Wigram and Burnside.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of our brand, we’re thanking our customers with a Daily Lucky Draw — giving away a $20 Mugen Sushi voucher every day!

Front of House – Part Time (Weekends Required)
Mugen is a Japanese sushi restaurant established in 2016, proudly serving Christchurch’s best PYO sushi. We’re looking for an energetic and reliable Front of House team member to join us.

To be considered, you must be available on weekends and able to work in a fast‑paced environment. We expect high standards from our team, and in return, we reward hard work, great attitude, and commitment.

What We’re Looking For
Minimum 1 year experience in a busy café, restaurant, or kitchen
A quick learner who can work efficiently under pressure
Reliable, punctual, and committed to at least 6 months of work
Able to work at any of our stores when required
Must have your own transport

Responsibilities
-Delivering excellent customer service
-Cashiering and handling customer orders
-Topping up and maintaining the food display
-Clearing and resetting tables
-Assisting with opening or closing duties
-Operating the dishwasher
-Coffee and barista skills are a bonus
