š A LITTLE REMINDER FOR OUR CUSTOMERS
I just want to put out a reminder that Georgieās Coffee & Food is opening from 8am until further notice
I know some of you are used to seeing the doors open earlier, but at the moment 8am is what I am able to manage.
For those who may not know, I recently underwent a procedure on my kidney which unfortunately was unsuccessful, and I am still waiting for another surgery.
I am still showing up, still working and still doing my absolute best to keep the business running with a smile on my dial ā even while Iām very unwell.
Please understand that when the doors arenāt open before 8am, there is a reason. It isnāt because I donāt want to be here, Iām running late, or I donāt care about my customers. I am simply doing what my body is currently allowing me to do.
I know it can be frustrating when things change, but getting angry or upset with me about opening times doesnāt change the situation ā it only makes an already difficult time harder.
I really do appreciate all of the customers who have been patient, kind and understanding, and the check ins mean the world ā¤ļø
For everyone else, I kindly ask that you please remember that there is a real person behind this little business who is currently doing her best while dealing with a significant health issue.
