I have tried my very best to keep taking a small hit to offer more affordable coffees but unfortunately with a bean increase I have no choice but to increase prices.

A little update from me 🤍

Firstly, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been so patient, respectful, and understanding while we navigate this uncertain time.

Unfortunately, my procedure wasn’t successful, so I’m now recovering while I wait for the next step in my treatment.

I’ll be back from Tuesday but I will need to open a little later than normal while I recover. I’ll be doing my absolute best, but I may be a little slower than usual, so I really appreciate your patience and understanding while I get back on my feet.

As many of you know, running a small business means wearing many hats, and while I’d love to take more time off to recover properly, that’s simply not an option.

I do have one small favour to ask. While I truly appreciate everyone’s concern, I’m finding it quite emotional that the procedure wasn’t successful. So, if I seem a little quieter or more reserved than usual, I’d really appreciate not having to talk about it just yet. Thank you so much for understanding. 🤍

Here’s hoping the next update brings better news.

To our wonderful Georgie’s customers,

PLEASE NOTE: We will be opening late at 9:30am Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th of July

I just wanted to let you all know that this coming Thursday I’ll be travelling to Nelson for a medical procedure on my kidney.

Many of you won’t know that I’ve been struggling with an ongoing kidney condition for the past 18months, while still continuing to keep the café running the best I can. This procedure is an important step towards getting me back to 100% so fingers crossed it works 🤞🏻

I’m unsure how I’ll be feeling afterwards, so things may be a little rocky for a few weeks. I kindly ask for your patience while we do our very best to keep everything running as smoothly as possible.

Our opening hours may change slightly during this time. Pahneah, along with the rest of the team stepping in to help out will be doing their very best to look after everyone while I’m away. I ask you to please be kind, patient and appreciative as they keep things ticking over for you all.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Please keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages for any updates to our opening hours.

If all goes well we hoping to be back to normal after the weekend.

I want to give the biggest THANK YOU to Renwick Meat Market and Bakery for supplying us with their amazing sausage meat for Georgie’s Famous Homamade Sausage Rolls.

Over the past 3 and a half years the team have supplied meat for close to 10,000 sausage rolls!!! For one pair of hands in a 3meter space is crazy
