Live jazz coming to Biddy Kate's 🎷

We are hosting a Southern Jam Youth Jazz Festival showcase on Friday 7 August, with four school bands taking over from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Featuring our own Marlborough Boys' College alongside Christ's College, Wakatipu High School, and Otago Girls' and Boys' High Schools.

Southern Jam is celebrating 21 years, and this is shaping up to be a cracking night. Free entry, great young musicians. Mark it in the diary and get in early for a table.

The festival wraps up with the Finale Gala Concert on Saturday 8 August, 7pm at the Whitehaven Theatre.

Calling all England fans in Blenheim! The Three Lions are in the World Cup quarter-final and we’re showing it live at Biddy Kate’s tomorrow morning, kicking off at 9am.

It’s England v Norway with a semi-final spot on the line. Kane and Bellingham are firing, but Haaland’s Norway just knocked out Brazil, so this one’s going to be a cracker.

Doors open early so grab your mates and settle in. Whether it’s a coffee and a cooked breakfast or a proper pint to steady the nerves, we’ve got you sorted.
