Behind every great menu is a story. 🇦🇷

This Restaurant Month, we're celebrating the flavours of Argentina, but what many people don't know is that the inspiration comes from Connie's own journey.

Before opening Vino Vino on Waiheke, Connie spent 13 years working alongside renowned Argentinian chef Francis Mallmann, as part of the team that established 1884 Restaurant in Mendoza, which went on to be recognised as one of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.

Those years shaped the way she cooks today – celebrating exceptional ingredients, the theatre of fire, and the belief that food is something to be shared with family and friends.

While our Restaurant Month menu isn't a recreation of Francis Mallmann's dishes, it reflects the experience, philosophy and passion Connie brought with her from Argentina to Waiheke.

This month, we'd love to share a little of that journey with you.
