Established in 2012 with the intentions of spreading better quality coffee to the public readily available for their everyday use at the comfort of people's home. We roast our coffee to enhance the flavors, not burn them to bitterness. Some objects just belong.
The Rin spoon is made by hand in Kagoshima - the city where I grew up - by a self-taught brass artisan who's been shaping metal since 2016. His philosophy is simple: make things that quietly accompany everyday life and grow more beautiful with time.
That's exactly what drew me to his work.
With use, the brass shifts and warms, developing a patina that's entirely yours. No two spoons are the same - those small differences are the mark of something made with intention, not a machine.
It's not here to impress. It's here to belong beside your morning cup.

Kyoto-based ceramic artist runatsu kobayashi creates her work around a simple idea — that beautiful objects don't need to demand attention. They just need to belong.
Her pieces are soft white, warm in the hand, and made to live within daily life rather than apart from it. At Ark, that's exactly the kind of thing we look for — objects that earn their place quietly, through use and time.
Each piece is handmade in Kyoto, which means each one is a little different. We find that's exactly the point.
