📚 Come and See Us on Your Auckland Bookshop Tour!
Auckland Bookshop Tour Dates: 7—18 October
NZ Bookshop Day: Saturday 10 October

There are 17* participating Auckland bookshops this year and you have 12 days to complete your tour. Do you think you can visit them all?

Pick up an Auckland Bookshop Tour map from any of the participating bookshops. Make a purchase—there is no minimum spend—and collect a stamp. Once you have at least two stamps, you are eligible to enter the draw to win $425 in bookshop tokens. Each additional stamp gives you another entry into the prize draw. Leave your map at the last bookshop you visit and they will submit your entry.

Check individual shop opening days and opening hours, which may vary, eg, we are open Tue-Sun 10am-4pm (we are closed on Mondays). Get your friends together and plan your tour wisely, dear reader!

*Please follow and keep an eye on Milford’s The Booklover Bookshop’s social media for updates as they are temporarily closed due to flood damage, but hope to have a Pop Up organised soon.

*There are a lot more bookshops in Auckland than we can possibly fit on the map. Therefore, please make the use of the BONUS BOOKSHOP square!

Many thanks to Coco for the NZ Bookshop Day artwork this year. And many thanks to Rachel and Jenna for their hard work in organising the Auckland Bookshop Tour!

🚅🚆 All aboard—and welcome back, Maungawhau Station!
Chapter Book & Tea Shop is delighted to celebrate the opening of Auckland’s City Rail Link and the reopening of our local train station.

We love the shortbread made by the wonderful Rebecca at Paris Mt Eden Bakery (464 Mt Eden Road). To mark the CRL’s first week of operation, we’ve been giving away complimentary train-themed shortbread to our customers in store. Yum!

Pop in and enjoy a little railway treat—perfect with a cup of tea—while stocks last!🚉🍪

We look forward to welcoming many more visitors to Mt Eden Village by train! From Maungawhau Station, catch the 27 or 64 bus on Mt Eden Rd (about 5 mins from the station), or enjoy the approximately 1.5km—or 20 minute—walk to the village. 🚆🚶‍♀️📚🫖
