Diane started baking when her 3 daughters were young for her mothers shop and word of mouth has now got us baking for about 100 shops all over Auckland. We make all our products from scratch using ingredients you find in any bakers kitchen, our butter is usually bought from the local supermarkets depending on who has it the cheapest. Cookies are rolled by hand which means of course you get that au

thentic homemade look (as we know plenty of people that pass them off as their own!) Most of our recipes can be found in the good old Edmonds cookbook just made in a lot bigger quantities. The business has kept us busy for over 30 years now and we hope to be able to continue for 30 more!

Just a quick note regarding Sunday's Hāngi as I want to be upfront and not disappoint anyone 😊

Due to food safety regulations, this will not be a traditional in-ground hāngi.

Instead, we will be preparing it using steam cooking, cabbage leaves, traditional hāngi ingredients and hāngi-style smoke flavour to create a meal inspired by the authentic flavours we all know and love.

Our goal is to get as close as possible to that traditional hāngi taste while ensuring we meet all food safety requirements.

The meal will include pork, chicken, potato, kūmara, pumpkin, stuffing and seasonal vegetables, served hot and ready to eat.

Wow! The response to the Hāngi poll has been incredible! 😍

So we're going to make it happen this Sunday!

🔥 Traditional Style Hāngi – $15 🔥

Packed with pork, chicken, potato, kūmara, pumpkin, stuffing and seasonal vegetables.

Possibly making fry bread as an add on for $1.

To make sure everyone gets one, we're taking pre-orders now.

Fresh hot Hāngi will be available for collection from 2pm Sunday.
