Welcome to the wonderful world of the Little House of Miro.. Miro is the closest vineyard to Onetangi Beach, a summer playground for holiday makers.

Bond Estate is in the Onetangi winegrowing region and comprises the 4.2 hectare Miro Vineyard and the outstanding Tapas restaurant called Casita Miro. Views from the vineyard are spectacular, looking out over the vines, the village and the sea. Grapes in the region ripen to a rare succulent intensity in the hot summer sun. The mineral rich soil provides the vines with flavour-enhancing elements.

Red wines grow best here, but pinot gris and chardonnay also produce excellent wines . Drink them with some of the fantastic tapas-style food served at the Vineyard Tapas restaurant (Casita Miro). Sadly this restaurant is no longer Waiheke’s best kept secret and you will need to book a reservation (09 372 7854)

We are delighted to announce another season of live music supper clubs for 2026, curated by the New Zealand music industry heavyweight, Nick Atkinson.

We are so excited to be hosting new talent with the same great format: Casita Jazz nights deliver a front row, intimate atmosphere inside the unique space that is our dining pavilion, alongside multiple course of award-winning Spanish fare and fine Waiheke Island wines. This year’s lineup includes:

is back for 2026 Last year our Churros con Chocolate made the 100 list ahead of the Goats Cheese Croquetas which had previously graced multiple top 100 lists. You have til the end of this week to vote for your faourite. Or get creative and tell the story of your love affair with a dish that holds a special place in your heart. What an incredible morning picking with the family at Casita Miro! Exactly a year ago we picked the base wine for our secret project 🤭 and here we are again. 365 days has come around so quickly and we can’t wait to share the fruits of our labour with you all 🥂🍷
