Solo dining... in the dark ✨
Why not come and try the solo experience?
Dining alone in the dark is entirely possible... and even surprising. Without being watched or judged, you can focus on your senses, on the present moment, on the taste.

The best part? Thanks to our shared tables, solo dining never means isolation.
In the darkness, conversations become more spontaneous and sincere. You chat, you laugh, you guess together... and sometimes, you make wonderful new friends.

Come alone and leave with memories to share (and maybe even some new friends).
So, are you tempted by the adventure? ✨

Dining in the dark offers a real break from everyday life.

Without screens or phones, you can fully enjoy the present moment and the time shared with others.

Deprived of sight, the other senses naturally take over: taste and smell intensify, transforming each bite into a real discovery.
This experience also encourages more authentic exchanges, as we listen more and conversations become more spontaneous.

Time seems to slow down and this simple dinner is transformed into a unique and memorable moment. ✨

An evening where nothing is quite as it seems…

This Easter, step into the darkness at Dans le Noir ? Auckland and let your senses lead the way. On Saturday, April 4th, our signature surprise menu remains untouched… but something playful awaits at your table.

Hidden in the dark, a mysterious egg. Find it, feel it, discover it… and perhaps unlock a surprise beyond the plate. Some colours reveal special gifts: a drink at the hotel bar, a bottle of w**e, or even a dining experience for two to return and relive the adventure.

A celebration where curiosity meets indulgence, and every detail becomes a discovery. 🐣

Can you really guess what you're eating in the dark?
Yes... and no 😉
In the dark, your senses are turned upside down: taste is still there, but smell and touch take over. The result? A dish can surprise you as much as it unsettles you. One thing is certain: you'll never eat the same way again after this.
