✨ From ‘Olive’… to our biggest beauty! ✨

This gorgeous big grey beauty headed off to her new home this afternoon, and this one feels a little extra special. ❤️

Her owner has been part of the Thoroughbred family for many years, starting with her beautiful float Olive, then moving up to something a little bigger… and now she’s stepped into our 3 Horse VXXL. We absolutely love watching our clients’ floats evolve with them over the years!

And this one is seriously packed with goodies, front storage box, rear lift-up door, wardrobe and shelving, overhead cover rack, swing-out tack box, pantry, sink and water system, gas hob, fold-out single bed, large battery system and, of course, a bed pod 😀

Custom built, beautifully finished and ready for plenty of adventures ahead.

Thank you for choosing Thoroughbred again, there’s something pretty special about building not just one float for a client, but being part of their journey through the years. 🐴❤️

Safe travels, big grey beauty!

📍Is Your Float Due for a Service?

Your horse float works hard for you – carrying precious cargo across New Zealand roads, through all weather conditions, and over all types of terrain. Like any piece of essential equipment, it needs regular maintenance to stay safe and reliable.

We recommend servicing your float every 6 months.

Regular servicing helps:
• Identify wear and tear before it becomes a safety issue
• Extend the life of your float
• Keep your braking system performing at its best
• Ensure your tyres, lights, and couplings are road-ready
• Protect your investment

Don't wait for a problem to arise on the side of the road. A simple service now can save you from costly repairs – and unnecessary stress – down the track.

Book your float in for a service today.

Another beautiful Thoroughbred 3HVX Angle Load heading out the door, and this grey, black checker plate combination looks super smart. 🖤

This one has been built for horses and humans, with plenty of storage, swing-down cover racks, swing-out tack box, sink and tap, internal access, lined roof, pop-up vents… and a fold-out double bed that has already passed its first quality-control test by the new owner! 😂
