For a small group of islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean New Zealand produces an inordinate amount of happy go lucky, good looking and fun loving Kiwis. We think it’s because we’re brought up on a diet of sunshine, surf and hours spent outside on lush green grass. But if we’re completely honest we got a little bit concerned when we heard that modern fast food was making New Zealanders a bit

chubby around the waistline. So we thought, “stuff you multinationals with your fancy pants advertising, comic book characters and super-sized combos, we’re going to invent our own New Zealand fresh food”. So we did exactly that. After scratching our heads and drawing some squiggly pictures on the back of a used piece of A4 paper we invented Kapai. We took New Zealand’s best produce and invented our Long Johns, Pukus, Salads and Baked Potatoes and then we let you choose from over 40 fresh ingredients because you know what you like best. And that’s how we came up with Kapai.
