Penguino Ice Cream Cafe We make gelato and sorbet ice cream on our premises fresh everyday. We have a wide range of flavours. We pasteurize our own milk which we use in our ice cream.

Freshly made gelato ice cream made daily with 24 flavours to choose from. The dairy gelato is 96% fat free and the sorbet is made with real fruit and is dairy free. We also do thick shakes which are made from our ice cream , cool coffee and choc drinks and sundaes also available. We also make ice cream cakes in two sizes with two flavours of your choice.

Sometimes it’s the little things that remind you why you do what you do. ❤️

This beautiful handwritten letter was dropped into the shop by one of our young customers, Amora, and it absolutely made our day! 🥰

Knowing that our gelato creates moments like this for families is exactly why we continue to pour our hearts into every scoop. Thank you, Amora, for your incredibly kind words—we’ll definitely be keeping your flavour idea in mind! 🍦✨

As we head into our final weekend of the season, we also want to say a huge thank you to everyone in our community for another amazing year of support.

This weekend is your last chance to grab your favourite gelato before we close for winter, so come and see us over the next two days!

We’ll miss seeing all your smiling faces, but we’ll be back in spring with fresh gelato, new flavours, and plenty more reasons to smile.

Next week is our final week before Penguino closes for the season, with our last day of trading being Sunday 28 June.

Come down and grab your favourite scoop, sundae, shake, or sweet treat before we take our winter break.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout the season. We appreciate every visit, every smile, and every scoop shared.

Penguino will reopen for spring on Friday 28 August.

Unfortunately, this week’s Open Mic Night at Center Stage, Browns Bay has been postponed until next Thursday.

Same place, same time — 6pm to 8pm — and still free for all ages.

🎤 This Thursday, why not make a night of it in Browns Bay?

Phoenix Plaza will once again come alive with Open Mic Night from 6pm–8pm, featuring local musicians, performers, spoken word artists, comedians, and more.

The first event was a great success, and we’d love to see this grassroots community initiative continue to grow. Events like these bring people together, create a vibrant atmosphere in our town centre, and support the local businesses that make Browns Bay such a special place.

Grab an ice cream, enjoy some live entertainment, and support local talent.
