Our name comes from the famous Taksim district which is situated in Istanbul, Turkey. Taksim is a major tourist and leisure district famed for its restaurants, shops, and hotels. It is considered the heart of Istanbul and is also the location of the Monument of the Republic of Turkey. Taksim is also a favourite location for public events such as parades, New Year celebrations, or other social gath

erings. Turkey sits at the crossroads of three different worlds, Anatolia, Asia and Europe. Our menu reflects this diversity from the very traditional to the contemporary from village dishes to dishes influenced by the Ottoman kitchens of the past. You will find an authentic taste of Turkey right here in Auckland at Taksim from mezze to chargrilled meats. We have a large space and can seat up to 200 people making our place the perfect location for group bookings. There is plenty of free parking both behind our restaurant and on street parking. We are also fully licensed with a bar menu as well. So if you're looking to dine in or just come in for a drink and snack we can cater for you. Come in, sit down and enjoy a taste of Turkey.
