Your mystery flavour revealed… Garlic Bread!

Toasted garlic bread was literally blitzed into gelato, creating one nostalgic and surprisingly tasty number.

This was one of our entries into the NZ Ice Cream Awards and it won a silver! 🥈

Note: With so many guesses submitted, we were strict with our judging. Entries needed both a garlic and bread component to be accepted (garlic bread, garlic naan, garlic crouton).

This August we have teamed up with Moreno Cafe & Bakery to make a gelato sandwich, unlike you have tasted before!

Our gelato kitchen sits right next door to Moreno, so this collab feels extra special.

It all starts with their Señorita bread - a soft, fluffy Filipino sweet roll filled with burnt butter & brown sugar and coated in toasted breadcrumbs. This is lightly toasted and filled with three scoops of gelato. We recommend the Coconut Ube, Chocolate Sorbet & Mango Lassi – but the choice is all yours.

It’s also made with the boxes and boxes of lemons my grandad sends up from Gisborne every year (what a legend).

We’ve got a mountain of lemons, it’s the depths of winter, and we’re dreaming of being back in Italy. All grand reasons to bring back scoops of sunshine.

For the next two weeks, say “add a scoop of sunshine” when you order any single or double scoop — and we’ll top it with an extra scoop of lemon sorbet, on us.

August flavours are here! 👉

This month we’re shining a spotlight on lemon (thanks to the abundance of lemons we have right now!), alongside a few Italian-inspired gems.

If we can’t be in Italy, we’ll bring a little Italian summer here to New Zealand instead 👌

Coconut, Gin, Lemon & Almond 🌱

Our silky smooth coconut gelato is infused with lemon and topped with slivers of almond. Dreamy.

Lemon & Poppy Seed Cake

We made a cake, blitzed it into gelato, added lemon curd and poppy seeds. An iconic flavour, turned gelato.

Pistachio Stracciatella

A favourite is back! We’ve made a Fior di Latte gelato, topped with our chocolate sauce (hardened into chunks) and pistachio crumb.

Pistachio 🌱

A vegan dream. We don’t make this one often, so if you’re a fan we recommend stocking up in August 🤤

Hazelnut Stracciatella 🌱

A plant-based twist on a favourite, we’ve made an oat milk and vanilla bean gelato topped with hazelnut chocolate sauce and candied hazelnut crumb.

Cheese & Cracker

One of our most requested flavours, it’s loaded up with tasty cheese and snax crackers. Sweet and salty. Mind-blowingly delicious.

Mystery flavour!

This secret flavour is scooping up until the 10th August, disguised with activated charcoal to give its mysterious grey colour. Have a taste, scan the QR code and have a guess! Every correct guess will win a free scoop.

The mystery disappears on 10 August, so don’t miss your chance to play!
