Gracias por contribuir con comida, decoración, divulgación y apoyo incondicional. Sin ustedes, nada de esto hubiera sido posible.
También quiero agradecer a cada persona de Francia, México, Colombia, Chile, Perú, Bolivia, Ecuador y de aquí en Nueva Zelanda que se acercó a apoyar y brindar una mano de ayuda.
Lo más bonito fue la experiencia.🤗
El jueves se me acercó una muchacha colombiana y me dijo: "Señora, yo quiero colaborar. ¿Para qué soy buena? Diga y la ayudo". Se me ocurrió que comprara unos globos para decorar. Me dijo "listo, yo lo hago" y se fue. Yo pensé que sería algo chiquito... ¡y llegó con un arco de globos hermoso!
Otra señora imprimió volantes por su cuenta y se fue a repartirlos por todos lados. Una muchacha chilena que canta en la calle vino al restaurante y cantó canciones venezolanas gratis durante dos horas.
_Una chica se disfrazó de ketchup, porque vendíamos hot dogs, y se puso a la entrada a atraer gente al evento y animarlos a donar. ¡Fue la mejor publicidad! 😂_
Personas sin hogar se acercaron y me dejaron sus monedas diciéndome: "Es todo lo que tengo, pero quiero donar para todas esas personas que están sufriendo ahora". 😭
Gente de Perú, Bolivia, Chile, Brasil, México, Francia, Colombia, de aquí de Nueva Zelanda y, por supuesto, de Venezuela, se acercaron a ayudar y a donar. La ayuda y colaboración fue tanto física como en donaciones, y cada gesto contó.
Hasta la prensa se acercó a cubrir el evento, y la difusión en redes sociales fue de gran ayuda para que más personas se sumaran.
Con tan solo una semana para organizar y publicar el evento, creo que fue un éxito total. Esto demuestra que en la unión está la fuerza, y que el amor por ayudar al prójimo no tiene fronteras.
Gracias a cada persona que puso su granito de arena. Gracias al universo por ponerlas en mi camino. Hoy más que nunca sentí que todos somos uno, todos somos Venezuela ❤️🙏🇻🇪

The most beautiful part was the experience itself.
On Thursday, a Colombian girl came up to me and said: "Ma'am, I want to help. What am I good for? Tell me and I'll help." I suggested she buy some balloons to decorate. She said "got it, I'll do it" and left. I thought it would be something small... and she came back with a gorgeous balloon arch!
Another woman printed flyers on her own and went out to hand them everywhere. A Chilean girl who sings on the street came to the restaurant and sang Venezuelan songs for free for two hours.
_A girl dressed up as a ketchup bottle, because we were selling hot dogs, and stood at the entrance to draw people in and encourage them to donate. It was the best advertising! 😂_
People experiencing homelessness came up and left me their coins saying: "This is all I have, but I want to donate for all those people who are suffering right now." 😭
People from Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Francia, Colombia, from here in New Zealand, and of course from Venezuela, came to help and donate. The help and collaboration was both physical and through donations, and every single gesture counted.
Even the press showed up to cover the event, and sharing it on social media was a huge help in getting more people involved.
With only one week to organize and promote the event, I think it was a total success. This shows that strength lies in unity, and that love for helping others knows no borders.
Thank you to every person who contributed their grain of sand. Thank you to the universe for putting them in my path. Today more than ever I felt that we are all one, we are all Venezuela ❤️🙏🇻🇪
