In the beginning company made getting food easier. And in turn, food made company that much more enjoyable. If you think single-handedly catching a woolly mammoth was a lonely sounding affair, imagine having to eat one with no one to chat to. Likewise, cooking is an inherently social pursuit. What’s the point of making a beautifully crafted sauce if there’s no one there to enjoy it with (or notice

how clever you are). Eating and cooking together is a fundamentally human thing to do. And it’s what drove us to open this restaurant. Admittedly, opening a restaurant because ‘people like food and we like cooking’ is not the most sophisticated business strategy. But in its simplicity, we hope you can at least tell that it's honest. And in case anyone gets the wrong end of the spear and thinks this is some sort of caveman themed restaurant, don’t worry. We serve modern cuisine with all the amenities you would expect to find in a modern restaurant. Tables, chairs, and smooth jazz compilations. Get in touch to make a booking, or pop in for a drink. No part goes to waste, fillet for the centrepiece, bones for the Bouillabaisse, wings for the specials board, and we scrape the bones to make Thai fish cakes to go with those after work bevies!!! Better livn everyone!!!

Here is the start of what we think is a pretty great burger. We mince chuck steak (left), brisket (right) and short rib (not shown) in house to create our take on the juiciest most delicious beef patties. We then weigh these into 250 grams portions. Our buns are also made in house along with our take on a Big Mac sauce.

When we cook the beef Pattie’s we set the meat by starting it in a cast iron pan but then towards the end of its cooking life we transfer it over some hot coals to get a lick of smoke.

This burger is not trying to be anything other than the greatest cheeseburger you will ever have.

To get the word out, next Thursday 4th June we will be doing them for $15. On till gone so you better book so we can get our stocks right.
