🚧 Council Delays Strike Again 🚧

Once again stuck waiting on council to get back to me about parking my cart in a new spot ☕️

Was hoping to have approval sorted so I could actually set up this week, but apparently replying to emails is a marathon these days. I’ll be back on to them again today and hopefully we can stop playing endless email tag 😂

Bit frustrating when you’re trying to grow, get out there and support the community, but we keep pushing on. Appreciate everyone hanging in there while I try lock in some new spots for Aura Coffee ☕️✨💛

Big day tomorrow at Coronation Park for the Manawatu Rugby League! 🏉🔥
It’s a huge day with TWO club days happening, so come down and enjoy all the action!
There will be:

🍭 Yummy fundraising treats
🏉 Plenty of rugby league action throughout the day!

Met some seriously cool people out and about today and honestly it made the whole day fly by. Cart life really is something special ☕💛 The food was absolutely delicious too 🔥

If you’re out and about, come down, grab a creamy hot chocolate, your favourite coffee and warm up with some seriously good food while hanging with some amazing local vendors 💨❄️

Winter vibes, the smell of coffee in the air, smokey goodness, hot toasties, sweet crepes and a relaxed atmosphere… honestly the perfect combo 🫶

Big weekend ahead for Aura Coffee ☕️🔥

After a quieter week of appointments and playing catch ups with life at home, it’s time to gear up for a busy weekend ahead 🙌

Super excited to be popping up at A1 Sandblasters & Sacks Ltd this Saturday alongside Toastie Boy and Flame 'N' Flavour Huge thank you for the invite 💛

Absolutely loving this journey — trying new spots, building confidence, meeting awesome people and making new connections along the way.

Then we’re back at the league on Sunday at Coronation Park with some big games ahead 🏉☕️

Pop down for a coffee, grab some incredible food, have a yarn and support local 💛Can’t wait to see some familiar faces and new ones too!

Neighbour dropped off kiwi fruit yesterday and honestly… this is liquid gold to a vegetarian like me 🥝💛
Kiwi fruit has been my absolute favourite fruit, so this time of year makes me ridiculously excited 😂 Nothing better than homegrown goodness. Feeling super grateful and happy 😊

10 weeks into owning my little business and today
I had my very first lazy morning! 😴
I slept in until 7am... then casually wandered around in my dressing gown until 9am feeling like I was breaking some kind of small business owner law 😆
It feels naughty doing nothing when your brain is normally running 100 miles an hour thinking about coffees, events, stock and what's next for Aura☕️🪴
But while my coffee machine is having a well deserved rest before the next event, I decided maybe I deserved one too!
Still not convinced I actually know how to switch off properly... but today was my tiny little "me day"☀️✨💛

Coming up we’ll be serving coffees at Rugby Lincoln Park here in Ashhurst, The Pink Ribbon Market, then heading back to the Harness Meet again!

Busy weeks ahead with the usual ups and downs, but I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way.

Safe to say my patience skills have levelled up! must be the caffeinated mind working overtime 🙃☕️

Can’t wait to see some familiar faces out there 🪴
