Prakriti Bread Prakriti Bread is an all women company that promotes women to become entrepreneurs. We believe in products that are fresh, high quality and affordable.

Nothing is better than starting your day with a fresh loaf of bread! Five girls (Durga Kayastha, Parvati Danuwar, Binda Danuwar, Sharmila Danuwar and Uma Lama) from Kavrepalanchowk were sent to Japan in October 2013 to receive a special training in baking by a NGO called Love Green Nepal. Those girls were sponsored by LGN through out their middle and high school in Kavre. They spent about 2 and ha

lf months learning at a well known Japanese bakery called Bell Boy in Fukushima . Once they got back from their intensive training, we planned to start a bakery that provided fresh, healthy, delicious and affordable bakery items. Our main motto is to promote entrepreneurship among women. Our main focus is towards women in deprived sectors. The motive was to show that women anywhere in Nepal can achieve what they want if they worked hard enough. Cleanliness and hygiene is very important to us but along with that we believe in our customers deserves to have fresh, healthy and delicious products. We make sure that our standard is maintained throughout. We also like to believe that a good customer service make a whole lot of difference in making a company successful. Keeping all of those in mind, we try our best to deliver good service and good bakery products to our customers. We first started with simple white, and wheat bread. From there we expanded to multi-grain bread, croissants and muffins. Now we have a various range of cookies, cupcakes and cakes. We also make cookies with personal messages for our customers. (which is sort of our specialization as well). We make sure all our products that are being delivered are freshly baked! Having said all that, we believe that “You can’t be sad when you’re holding a cupcake”.
