This is our take on the infamous style of building a cheese burger "THE DOUBLE CHEESE BACON BURGER". Every patty is topped with 2-slices of cheese.

The fun part is how we use bacon.

Instead of bacon strips, we cooked bacon bits to crisp, till it leaves most fat in the pan. We then add thinly sliced onion on that fat and let the onion caramelise over low heat for 5 hours. We add back the crisp bacon bits, ground coffee and brown sugar. The result is a silky and smoky jam of bacon and onion. It's irresistible. It's Smashing. And it's all for you.
