Eat in Common

Eat in Common Be a guest or be a host and become a part of our social dining network Eat in Common is bringing people together around food.

We are bringing you the opportunity to share meals and meet new people. The world is a busy place, and we want to offer more occasions for people to meet and socialise in everyday lives. Sitting down over a good meal is a perfect way to expand the horizon and have a good time. All dinners are hosted by Eat in Common in collaboration with skilled chefs and event designer to ensure the best possible

experience. Guests can expect to dine in private homes, secret urban locations, rooftop gardens and such. Founded by Metteliva Henningsen & Secret team in Scandinavia in 2013. Launched in Oslo and Stavanger first (Norway), then expanded to Copenhagen and moved on to Stockholm in 2014.

Say hallo to something slightly different

Four years ago we came up with a novel idea; Build a website where locals can host dinner parties. We wanted to bring people together in local homes; and so we did.
More than 1000+ people have been taking a seat at one or more of the social dining events.

However, by the end of 2017 the website will be re-build and the concept changed into a different form of social dining.

We would like to thank all Eat in Common hosts for opening up your homes to strangers and treating them a dinner to remember.

What is new?
In 2018 we will re-launch and welcome you back to the table. Our table.
In the future Eat in Common will solely be serving you our own events, and will focus on chefs collaborations, pop-up events, urban dining experiences and more.
Meaning, we will no longer offer users the option to create and host events.

We would like to thank all Eat in Common hosts for opening up your homes to strangers, and treating them a dinner to remember.

We are proud of the work we have done, and saddened by the fact that we have to kill an absolute darling; the peer-to-peer part of the concept. On the other hand we are extremely excited about all the new possibilities and collaborations the change will bring both us and you. Thank you for taking part in our social dining adventure!

Until we meet again..

Eat in Common Team
xoxo
