Another Gladmat is over… and all I can say is THANK YOU. ❤️
This year’s festival was one we will never forget.
First of all, I want to say the biggest thank you to my husband . ❤️ From the days of preparing everything before the festival, through every single day of Gladmat, and even after it ended, he has been there by my side. I honestly couldn’t have done this without you. Thank you for your endless support, hard work, patience, and for believing in my crazy ideas.
A huge thank you also goes to my son, Ethan. ❤️ At almost 12 years old, he spent all three festival days working with us on the register, welcoming customers with the biggest smile. The amount of people who came up to tell me how polite, kind and professional he was made me so emotional. I couldn’t be more proud of him. He handled every customer with confidence and kindness like a true professional. (And yes… before anyone asks, he got paid for his hard work! 😉)
To every single person who visited our stand—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Because of you, our Gladmatrett was an incredible success, and we sold 1,556 portions! 🤯 Your amazing feedback means everything to us, and I’m so excited to say that it will officially become part of our menu at Sandi!
We also launched our very first mocktails during Gladmat, and the response completely blew us away. So many of you asked if they would be available at Sandi… and the answer is YES! 🍓🍋🍹 From now on you’ll be able to enjoy our mocktails at the bakery, with flavours changing regularly, so there will always be something new to try.
Finally, thank you to all of our neighbours at Gladmat for your support, kindness and encouragement throughout the festival. Events like this are always better when you’re surrounded by great people.
Thank you for another unforgettable Gladmat. Every cake, every mocktail, every smile, every conversation and every customer reminded us why we love doing what we do.
