🇳🇴På den siste dagen av vår mini litteraturfestival hadde vi den store gleden og æren av å ønske velkommen til Dr. Jonathan Newman – en internasjonalt anerkjent sosialantropolog og forfatter av den tankevekkende boken "The Travel Guide to Connection"

😍Med varme, humor og smittende engasjement holdt Jonathan en inspirerende bokpresentasjon hos oss på Kafé Fønix. Samtalen handlet om noe av det viktigste vi har: evnen til å forstå hverandre, bygge relasjoner og møte ulike perspektiver med nysgjerrighet og respekt.👍
🇧🇻🇺🇸Som en hyggelig avslutning på arrangementet samlet Jonathan de glade medlemmene fra USA/Minnesota-bandet "Star of the North Concert Band" til en felles selfie – et øyeblikk som oppsummerte hele budskapet i boken hans: mennesker møtes, snakker sammen og skaper forbindelser.
🍲Og for å være helt ærlige: NESTEN all gulasjsuppen ble utsolgt!

🇧🇻On the final day of our literary festival, we had the great pleasure and privilege of welcoming Dr. Jonathan Newman – a world-renowned social-anthropologist and author of the inspiring book "The Travel Guide to Connection" (Twelve key pathways to connect with others and gain a deeper understanding of different points of view)🫵

😍With warmth, humour and genuine passion, Jonathan gave a fascinating presentation at Kafé Fønix. His talk explored one of the most important aspects of human life: our ability to understand one another, build meaningful relationships, and approach different perspectives with curiosity and respect.👍
🇧🇻🇺🇸Jonathan concluded the event with a cheerful group selfie together with the members of the USA/Minnesota's "Star of the North Concert Band" – a fitting ending to an afternoon dedicated to connection, conversation and community.
🍲And, tbh... ALMOST all of the goulash soup was sold out!
