Closed for the season.

08/08/2026

Today is our final opening day of the summer. Stop by for dinner, snacks, a glass of wine, or one of our cocktails. We’d love to see you before we close for the season!

Marius’ favourite dish from the menu is the assorted cured meats.

Serrano, fennel salami and Coppa, served with cherry marmalade, caperberries, semi-dried tomatoes, olives and rye crackers.

Salty, rich and savoury, with sweetness from the cherry marmalade and a little acidity from the accompaniments.

Simple, classic and full of flavour.

One of Simen’s favourite dishes from the menu is the baked Camembert with summer truffle.

French Rouzaire Petit Camembert, baked until warm, soft and almost melting, then finished with honey, truffle oil and freshly grated Spanish summer truffle.

Rich, creamy, aromatic and generous.

A dish made for sharing at Atelier.

Only two more weeks of Atelier by Simen Vatne this summer.

Stop by for sharing dishes, fresh flavours and slow moments by the harbour in Henningsvær.

We are open for a limited time, and we would love to welcome you before the season ends.

Three things Marius would order tonight at Atelier.

First, tomato salad with burrata: fresh, creamy and bright.

Second, baked Camembert: warm French Rouzaire Petit Camembert with honey, truffle oil and freshly grated Spanish summer truffle.

Third, lemon tart: crisp almond shell, smooth lemon cream and soft meringue.

Three dishes. One table. A very good evening at Atelier.

Meet Simen Vatne, the creator of Atelier.

Simen created Atelier as a personal restaurant concept inside Galleri Lofoten, bringing together food, art and the harbour in the heart of Henningsvær.

The vision is simple: food you can share, flavours you can explore, and an atmosphere that makes people want to stay a little longer.

That is Atelier by Simen Vatne.

Outdoor seating with one of the most beautiful views in Henningsvær.

Tonight, our quayside terrace is open until 22:00. Sit down by the water, take in the harbour, the mountains and the evening light, and enjoy something good in the glass.

Wine, cocktails, snacks and the atmosphere of Henningsvær, right outside Atelier by Simen Vatne.

Welcome by the harbour.

Top three experiences at Atelier by Simen Vatne.

First, cocktails in our quayside lounge. Sit by the water, enjoy the view of Henningsvær, and start the evening with something good in the glass.

Second, Champagne through the gallery. Walk among the art and history of Galleri Lofoten with a glass in hand.

Third, food and wine in our historic restaurant. Sharing dishes, carefully selected wines and an intimate atmosphere made for long evenings.

Welcome to Atelier by Simen Vatne at Galleri Lofoten.
