Geir’s workshop.

The heart of the factory.

Every tool has its place.

Every piece is bespoke.

No shortcuts taken.

This is about material, patience, and making things that last a lifetime.

Here’s to our makers.

Hope your skilled hands are getting some well-deserved rest.

Why did this happen?

As the final whistle blew and celebrations erupted across the country, we found ourselves asking why a football match could make an entire nation feel like one big family.
 ⠀
We love a “because.”
 ⠀
Because history was made.
 ⠀
Because the underdogs beat Brazil.
 ⠀
Because, for one unforgettable night, thousands of people shared the same joy.
 ⠀
But maybe that’s not the most interesting question.
 ⠀
The better question is: why did it matter so much?
 ⠀
The “because” gives us the reason to gather.
 ⠀
But the simple human need for community and belonging is what turns a victory into something bigger than sport.
 ⠀
Yesterday it was a World Championship.
 ⠀
Tomorrow it will be something else.
 ⠀
The reason we come together never really changes.
 ⠀
Humans need other humans.
 ⠀
Go team. ❤️

Back in Full Bloom.

Many of Figgjo’s most beloved tableware collections throughout history feature the distinctive designs of Turi Gramstad Oliver.

One of the designs that best represents Figgjo’s design heritage is Figgjo Daisy – a timeless pattern that is now blooming once again.

When Turi joined Figgjo in 1960, she gave tableware decoration a fresh, modern expression. Bolder, larger, and more playful.

Her designs have since become collector’s items around the world, with a particularly devoted following in Asia. In fact, we recently shipped Daisy all the way to South Korea (!)

Launched in 1969, Daisy marks a fascinating meeting of Lotte’s naturalistic style and Granada’s more abstract visual language, two of her most popular decors.

Here, the oxeye daisy has been distilled to its most distinctive form – without leaves or stem.

Yet the flower remains instantly recognizable, precisely because its simplicity allows the shape to speak for itself.

We don’t think so.

Bris was designed to refine a series that people already loved.⠀
 ⠀
The proportions remain unchanged. Same diameters, same depths – while a tactile rim and subtle shine add depth and character.⠀

Familiar from the first serve, dependable for years to come.

A plate designed with the coast in mind.

The culinary vision behind Bris comes from Jan-Erik Hauge, head chef at Fisketorget Stavanger.⠀

Raised by the sea in Berle and renowned for his expertise in fish and shellfish, he helped create dishes that reflect the ingredients, traditions, and stories of the Norwegian coast.

A meeting of craftsmanship, design, and culinary heritage.

Inspired by the rhythm of the sea and the ever-changing landscapes of Western Norway.
 ⠀
Bris captures the movement of coastal winds through delicate vertical lines and hand-carved details, creating a surface that feels both refined and organic.
 ⠀
The color palette reflects a shoreline shaped by water, weather, and time, bringing a quiet sense of calm to every table.
