Nine years of Sam’s Coffee.
One of the very first specialty coffee bars in Zwolle.
Time has moved fast and yet, within that time, so much has been built.
From a modest beginning, a first shop of just 30 square meters, to what has become an espresso bar of nearly 200 square meters, perhaps one of the largest in the Netherlands.
This December marks our 9 year anniversary.
Exactly one year ago, also in December, we began building this new space, guided by full trust, driven by belief, yet never fully expecting the success we would find in a place of this scale.
With dedication, passion, and genuine joy, we now step into our tenth year.
For many years, this journey was one I carried largely on my own, from the earliest days to the creation of the space you see today.
Today, we move forward with a team I am deeply proud of.
And today feels especially meaningful.
It is my birthday, a personal milestone woven into this moment, making it even more special to close the year here, in this new location, surrounded by growth, gratitude and shared joy.
Who knows what beautiful developments still lie ahead, all in gratitude to you, and with the same promise:
