Dear Lisa’s Deli fam, friends and loyal customers,

After 5 years of Lisa’s deli, we are moving on to the next chapter in our lives.
We have decided to follow our hearts and move back to New Zealand.

Five years of Lisa’s deli in Assendorp, we became parents, lost Lisa’s Dad who helped set up the cafe, and hopefully gained to be better entrepreneurs.😜

But the best thing we gained is a family here in Assendorp, created by loyal customers, customers who became friends and the other entrepreneurs who became like colleges or people we talk to or we leaned on for advise!

Our hearts are heavy but also full with all the support, love and all the magic we created through Lisa’s deli. We would like to thank you all for these beautiful memories and we will treasure them for the rest of our lives. Thank you Assendorp for making us feel so welcome❤️

We are here till the 1st of July. Will update you soon on a fun day to say goodbye and also the future plans of cafe!
For now, come see us and remember the good days together❤️

Have you tried our NEW SOURDOUGH KIMCHI GRILLED CHEESE YET? 😍😍😍 It’s packed with 3 kinds of vegan cheese, vegan mayo and vegan KIMCHI 🥬🌶️ After it’s grilled it shows it’s true yummyness… The melted gooey cheese and the umami and sourness of the kimchi is such a rich and flavourful golden combination 😮‍💨🤤 AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST… The Sourdough bread comes from , made with regenerative wheat from the dutch with no added nonsense, only using beautiful, fair and good produce. Come try it now!!!

A bit more about . Bakkerij Vlier in Klijndijk (Drenthe) is a small-scale, artisanal bakery known for baking sourdough bread and other treats using organic/regenerative grains. It is a local bakery focused on sustainability, baking primarily to order to prevent food waste.

New on the menu! Artichoke & Mediterranean veggie sandwich. Hummus spread, roasted peppers,arichokes,black olives,sundried tomato, toasted walnuts, rucola and balasamic cream. 🤭

New spring homemade syrups! Mango and lavander. 🥭 Mango is avaliable with our matcha drinks and our homemade lemonade. Lavander you can add to your coffee drinks to add a bit of a floral note or to lemonade for a refreshing drink!

Spring is here! Introducing our first spring menu item- Meike’s mini cakes (vegan). We will be changing the flavours from week to week. 😊 in the coming weeks expect new items on the menu. Till then enjoy the blossoming trees and the return of the sun!☀️
