Farewell from Mi Olivo 🕊️

Dear valued guests, employees and friends of Mi Olivo,

It is with humble gratitude and a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Mi Olivo Restaurant.

This has been a very difficult and emotional decision and we are so sad to say goodbye, after 4 years, we will close our doors on Sunday, September 22nd as we have decided it’s time to move on to the next chapter of life, whatever that might be.

To be honest, the decision comes after much deliberation and is mainly due to reasons of health, financial instability and lack of staff, among many others.

We would like to thank our staff, past and present, for being a part of our restaurant and for helping us to provide so many wonderful experiences to our lovely guests over those years. Some of them become a family.

There are no words that clearly express the love and gratitude we feel for our guests that supports us so hard to keep the vision alive.

Immeasurable thanks to everyone who has dined with us, whether you've been dining with us for years or just now found us. We are grateful for your continued support and loyalty, we are truly humbled and honored to have served you. You trusted us with some of your most treasured events and many other completely routine and sometimes, totally extraordinary moments.

Mi Olivo gave us a place to feel at home.
However, as much as we love Mi Olivo and seeing you walk through our doors, this is a bitter choice and a most difficult decision, to say the last.

So if you like to enjoy your last dinner with us or just come to say goodbye, you are very welcome to share with us last memories that will remain in our hearts forever.

Once again, our deepest gratitude with our very best and sincerest wishes, we hope that you stay safe and take care of each other. We will miss you all so very much.

De Spaanse eigenaren van Mi Olivo aan de Appelmarkt in Zierikzee doen geen concessies. Dus: perfect en anders maar niet. Dat proef je dus, bij ieder gerecht en iedere hap. Spaanser wordt het niet! Wij kiezen elke weer voor de zarzuela en paella.
