The family-owned shipyard employs more than 45 craftsmen and is located in Waalwijk, the Netherlands. Wim van der Valk is still a driving force behind the company. The yard has primarily earned its worldwide reputation from the award-winning semi-custom Continental series. Van der Valk Shipyard also has the capacity to build fully custom designs.

◻️ As befits a yacht designed for family moments, a generous bow lounge offers a serene spot to enjoy the breeze underway or at anchor. A spa pool will provide the perfect place for a sunset soak. The bow deck also accommodates a dedicated garage for the MOB tender, while a larger 6.25-metre Williams DieselJet and a jetski will be housed in a lower deck garage, accessed via a side-opening ramp for easy launch and retrieval.

Currently under construction, Project ZEN is Van der Valk’s most ambitious and largest custom build to date. This sleek, low-profile 48-metre raised pilothouse design combines the refined exterior and interior vision of Guido de Groot with the cutting-edge expertise of Van Oossanen Naval Architects.

◻️ Last week marked a milestone moment as the wheelhouse of this 30-metre custom aluminium raised pilothouse yacht was joined, the final phase of installing the superstructure. One of those build moments you don't forget.

With outfitting just weeks away, things are moving fast. Designed in collaboration with Guido de Groot Design, Project Berlin is on track for delivery in summer 2027.

◻️ Van der Valk Shipyard has started sea trials for MY Shine, the Dutch builder’s largest custom motor yacht to date. The 39.92-metre aluminium superyacht is now in the final phase of testing, with performance and onboard systems undergoing thorough evaluation before delivery.

Completion of the trials and remaining outfitting works will see Shine handed over to her owners in time for the upcoming Mediterranean. Season.
