Some dishes are more than just food. They bring back memories of home, family, and meals you always looked forward to.

Dakbokkeumtang (닭볶음탕) is one of those dishes.

Tender chicken, potatoes, and vegetables slowly simmered in a rich, spicy sauce. It’s already a complete dish on its own. But in Korea, we often order extra rice on the side because honestly, we really love rice.

This summer, we’re bringing our own Dakbokkeumtang to SONMAT, made with the same warmth and comfort we grew up with.

We’ll also be serving a plant based version, because comfort food should be for everyone.
