As you may have noticed recently, we’ve been busy making improvements to Haley’s Comet. Many of these works can be carried out in the evenings after closing time. Unfortunately, there are also tasks that can only take place during the day. Therefore, we are closed on Tuesday, May 5.

Think you know your pop culture — the lines you randomly quote, the chaotic reality TV moments, the songs you definitely didn’t forget (even if you say you did)? Then yeah… this one’s for you.

On Friday, May 15, Haley’s Comet is throwing a Pride Pop Cult Quiz built around all the stuff we’ve watched, rewatched, half-remembered, and argued about over the years. You’ll get questions that feel impossible at first… right up until someone at your table suddenly knows it.

It’s not about being the smartest team in the room. It’s about that moment when everything clicks and you feel like absolute geniuses for five seconds.

And yes — it’s worth winning. We’re giving away Haley’s Comet swag, free drinks, and some extra merch that you’ll actually want to take home.

So bring your friends, grab a drink, and settle in!
