As the seasons change, so do the people around us.
Many of our regular guests, who visited us two or three times a week, have stopped by one last time before returning home or moving away from The Hague.
Over countless meals, we shared stories about our cultures, languages, families, and everyday lives. Knowing that our restaurant could be a small place where you felt comfortable and at home is something we will always treasure.
We will never forget your kindness, your support, and the memories we created together.
One of the greatest compliments we receive is hearing that BABAQUE became part of your life here in The Hague—or your journey in the Netherlands. For that, we are truly grateful.
Some of you surprise us by returning years later. What makes us smile even more is that we often remember not only your face, but also exactly what you used to order.
Every encounter is a gift.
We hope to continue protecting this little place, so that whenever life brings you back, you can walk through our door and simply say,
