On this auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi, what better way to celebrate than share a cake made for first birthday with an elephant topper. Everything about this cake screamed royalty - the topper with pagdi, intricate lace work, the marigold flowers! Its hard to choose my favourite.

The best part - the cake being so well received by family and guests. Makes our work so fulfilling! 🙏🏼

What do you design when you have to celebrate completion of a doctorate of an avid fan of movie - Hail Mary?! You make a cake with Rocky, astronaut and the lego version of it!!!!

I have bever been more scared of making any figurines as I have been of this one, especially the lego. Thank God, Devki, helped with the design and my numerous questions. Don’t we just love a spouse who wants to celebrate all your milestone!

We jumped on the bandwagon!!! Finally posting the very in, very chic, rectangular cake. This is our favourite in terms of color scheme and design.

After a long relaxing holiday, we are back at work. First, a few posts of what we have done in the past.

This cake celebrates birth, first solid food and the happiness a new born baby brings to his parents and proud big sister. The cake is a typical spread of what is served in a typical Bengali Annaprasan - food, sweet, rasgulla, gold, book, fruits, puja thali, etc. So happy with how the elements turned out to be and how well the cake was received.

It finally happened!!!! Every baker’s worst nightmare and it finally happened to us. We made the design wrong 🤦🏻‍♀️. The baby shark cake that was supposed to be in red/pink shade (2nd image) was made in blue (1st image) by us. Now generally, we make the cakes as close as possible to the pickup time but this time, by sheer luck, we made it an hour early and shared the pic. We were even luckier in having an amazing patron who not only kept her cool when she notified us about the mistake, she also gave us enough time to fix it. We had other deliveries so it was cutting very close as we had to take off every decoration, redo the base, the spheres and other elements. Thankfully it all worked out and we were able to manage everything within time. What a rollercoaster it was!!!
