Een botanero is een Latijns-Amerikaanse mix van een bar, restaurant, cantina en proeflokaal tegelijk.

Deze swingende mix hebben we naar Rotterdam gehaald en willen we met je delen. We serveren cocktails, wijnen, hapjes (botanas) en gerechten om te delen!

One of the heavy hitters on our desert selection.

We couldn’t resist serving this classic, with a few seasonal upgrades by Chef Rohini. The end result is a silky sponge cake soaked in a rhubarb and strawberry milk mixture, with whipped cream and rhubarb rose compote.

Birria Tacos

A labour of love and patience. Toasting the spices, searing the beef, marinating overnight and then stewing for minimum of nine hours. Chef Rohini’s seasoning is closely linked to Jalisco-style birria, with ours being a little less sweet and more pungent.

We serve it as quesabirria with cheddar and mozzarella, paired with a shot glass of birria consommé. Can’t beat it♥️

Pollo a la Diabla

When you call something a la Diabla, there’s not much room for half measures. Pasilla, morita, kasmir, Madame Jeanette and habanero peppers all find their way into the tomato sauce coating the chicken thighs.

Add mole negro from Oaxaca, queso fresco and habanero red onion on top. Devilishly good💀♥️

Meet our Pesca al Pastor, our special for the month of September. And trust us, the real ‘pena’ is not having tried it yet.

Red fish marinated in achiote, served with charred pineapple, tamarind-habanero salsa and topped with cucumber. A little sweet, a little heat, and the cucumber to cool you off ♥️

TUNA CDMX

A crisp tostada layered with day fresh guacamole and marinated tuna, topped with toasted sesame seeds and fried potato for extra crunch. Inspired during her trip to Mexico City knew exactly what to do, serve this crowd favourite back home with a Rotterdam attitude. 🕊️

POLLO A LA DIABLA

Truly Mexican inspired, devilishly good. The summer menu Pollo a la Diabla tacos are filled with spicy tomato sauce coated chicken thighs, a good scoop of mole negro and garnished with queso fresco and habanero pickled onion. Served to be shared with your table.💀♥️

AGUACHILE MARACUYA

If you like ceviche, you’re going to love this new dish from our summer menu. Cooked mussels in a Mexican aguachile with passionfruit, coconut milk, jalapeño, cucumber and lime, garnished with confit tomatoes & habanero pickled onion. Served with tostadas on the side so you and your table can dig in! ♥️

Chef Rohini came back from Montego Bay with one thing on her mind: jerk. And that left her with only one thing to do: create her own jerk-based monthly special, but of couse in Botanero style.

Meet the Jerk Shroom. Three corn tortillas loaded with oyster mushrooms sautéed in jerk marinade, hibiscus habanero salsa and our own Esquites.

Jamaica inspired, Botanero made. Starting August 1st. Three tacos for €10. Do yourself a favour🌸
