Vandaag hebben we onze allerlaatste service gedraaid, een moment vol emoties en dankbaarheid. Voor we afscheid nemen, delen we graag de quote waarmee het allemaal begon. Een herinnering om nooit te vergeten, en het leven altijd te vieren.

𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗙𝗜𝗧𝗭𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗗 𝗦𝗟𝗨𝗜𝗧 𝗣𝗘𝗥 𝟭𝟯 𝗝𝗨𝗟𝗜 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

Na tien onvergetelijke jaren nemen wij afscheid van ons restaurant. Op zaterdag 12 juli serveren wij voor de allerlaatste keer. Het is een besluit dat wij met pijn in het hart nemen, maar ook met trots op alles wat we samen hebben opgebouwd.

Sinds 2018 droegen wij een Michelinster, een erkenning waar we met toewijding en dankbaarheid aan gewerkt hebben, jaar na jaar. Ook na onze recente overname zijn we blijven streven naar kwaliteit, gastvrijheid en beleving. Dat we de ster wisten te behouden, is te danken aan ons fantastische team en jullie, onze trouwe gasten.

Maar soms vraagt de tijd om nieuwe keuzes. De economische realiteit dwingt ons tot verandering. Daarom maken we ruimte voor een nieuw, toegankelijker horeca-avontuur dat beter past bij deze tijd.

Tot die tijd? Genieten we samen nog even volop.

Next week, on June 25 we welcome Dennis Appel from the renowned German winery Meyer-Näkel, located in the Ahr Valley, for an exclusive winemaker’s dinner. A six-course menu will be paired with twelve exceptional wines, ranging from fresh whites to elegant reds and refined sweet wines. The wines will be personally introduced by the winemaker, alongside sommelier Duco de Leeuw and importer Arend-Jaap van der Lely.

Originally from Poland, Adriana is now in the Netherlands for her psychology studies. A perfect match with her other passion: hospitality. And luckily for us (and you), her class schedule works seamlessly with her role at the restaurant.

We're enjoying a short break after an exciting period filled with new dishes in the kitchen (a brand new menu), refined wine pairings, and welcoming many international guests. We’ll be back on the 8th of May, ready to welcome you again at Fitzgerald.
