We were the first rooftop bistro in Rotterdam where you could enjoy breakfast and lunch overlooking the garden and the city skyline.

Dear friends

It is with a heavy heart that we today announce the end of Op Het Dak’s chapter.
We built a legacy that is here to stay.
Extremely proud of all that we achieved it is time to open up to new adventures.

Despite the closing of our chapter, the bistro will move under the wings of Teds Place who will welcome you very soon with their delicious breakfast and lunch menu.

We wish to thank every member – past and present – of our incredible team, for helping make Op Het Dak a truly special place. We would not have come so far or achieved so much without you. Also a big thanks to our suppliers, our guests, our friends and our family, for their many years of loyalty & support - . Pioneers by heart, our paths will cross again.

🐣 Easter vibes 🐣
Normally we would have our special brunch menu & the famous golden egg hunt.
Instead a memory of our 2018 finale with this pavlova, stuffed with egg yolk brandy, black currant syrup & pistachio. Happy Easter weekend!

* R E C I P E *
This easy recipe for vegan donuts will make your hunnybunny or secret crush fall in love (again)

*Vegan Donuts + Frosting (makes 4 to 5)*
*Preheat oven to 175 C
*Batter: mix 45 g flour + 54 g sugar + 1,5 tbsp cocoa powder + ⅛ tsp baking soda.
*Make a well in the centre and pour in 65 ml water + 1 tbsp oil + ¾ tsp white vinegar + ¼ tsp vanilla.
*Whisk until blended and smooth.
*Spoon or pipe the batter into doughnut shapes, ¾ of the way up.
*Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool in the baking shape for 2 minutes, then turn out and cool on a wire rack.
* Let cool completely before frosting.

2)Frosting: *mix 450 gr powdered sugar + 4 tbsp vegan butter + 3 tbsp vegan milk. *Whisk with (electric)mixer until smooth and thick. *dip or sprinkle with glitter or sugar pearls
