Back in the 1970s and 80s, industrial workers under intense daily stress craved a cheap, fiery comfort food to sweat out their fatigue. Paired with the explosive heat of Cheongyang peppers🌶️🌶️🌶️

As late-night Pojangmacha (tent bars) flourished in cities, vendors began stir-frying chicken feet in ultra-spicy chili marinades. Its fiery kick made it the legendary pairing for cold Soju.

High in natural collagen, Dakbal offers a unique gelatinous texture. In modern Korea, gathering with friends over a plate of Dakbal is famous as a therapeutic way to release stress after a long week.
