A month full of tours, stories and curious people exploring the city with us.

In May, we hosted 88 tours in total. From Highlights Bike Tours and Rooftop Tours to Street Art and Food Tours, it was a month with many different ways to discover Rotterdam.

Some places do not scream for attention, but are so worth knowing.

Kampong Express is one of them. We regularly pass by it during our tours, and it is exactly the kind of spot you might overlook if no one points it out.

Tucked away in a place you could easily walk past, but definitely worth stopping for. The food is seriously good, and it feels like one of those local finds that makes Rotterdam extra fun to explore.

Sunny days in Rotterdam are coming! We would do this ☀️

Start slow with a coffee at Parqiet. See more of the city by bike. Hop on the water for a water taxi or harbour cruise. Take a break at Kaapse Kaap. End near the Erasmus Bridge and watch the skyline do its thing.

No need to rush through a checklist. Just head out, look around and let Rotterdam surprise you a little.

Rotterdam Classics: Kralingse Bos & Kralingse Plas 🌿

Need a greener side of Rotterdam for a bit?

Perfect for a walk, a run, a bike ride and a little animal spotting by the water. And yes, there are good horeca spots nearby too, like De Tuin van de Vier Windstreken and De Schone Lei.

Best way to get here? By bike. Public transport works too, but expect a bit of a walk.

A classic for locals, and for good reason. Save this one for your Rotterdam list!
