In our lab we enjoy experiments - playing with flavor, shape, texture, color... the more diversity the better.
This time though, we deviated even further. This time it is something special.
Having tested on ourselves and calibrated on our friends, we scientifically conclude - the more filling the better! 😄
So, here it is, waiting for you: 1/3 cookie, 2/3 Dulce de leche (better known as Вареная Сгущенка). Easy to order, impossible to resist.
Which name would you easier recognize on a foreign bakery shelf - Oreshki? Nootjes? Nüsschen? Cookienuts?.. Ideas are welcome 😉

"Sweets for tea" is a classic thing in many cultures. On the other hand, coffee lovers often find it very appropriate to have a sweet bite with their beverage. One of the reasons of such perfect matching may be caffeine itself. There are evidences that by blocking adenosine receptors it not only makes you feel less tired but also decreases the perception of sweet taste, thus making you subconsciously lust for a cookie ☺ With this explanation or another, I personally love to couple Zefir with a cup of coffee. Hmm.. What actually is zefir?
Zefir is a light and gentle confectionery made of fruit or berry puree. People say it resembles marshmallow and meringue but is still very different.
It is believed that the sweet has got its name after the Greek god of the light west wind, Zephyros, referring to its delicate airy texture.
It can be accompanied with a cup of coffee or tea, but goes alone just as well.
How would you describe it to a person who never tried zefir yet?
