Today we want to share with you our favorite three roasters that are on our shelves. Try them at the bar, and if one wins you over, take a bag home. We can grind it for you too, just tell us how you brew 😌.
Stean's Beans
Stean was born and raised in Kenya and works directly with smallholder farming families who’ve been growing coffee for generations. They’ve worked with the same farmers for years, so every bag you buy goes back into that relationship and helps keep things fair and sustainable, one harvest after another.
Dak Coffee Roasters
Louis-Philippe and Veronique are from Montreal. They left jobs in finance and marketing, travelled around Europe for years, and ended up roasting coffee in Amsterdam. They think specialty coffee shouldn’t feel fancy or complicated, so their coffees are fun: some funky and experimental, some classic. Ask us and we’ll help you choose.
Atelier Bogoria
Their Yellow Honey comes from Ngacha Coffee Estate on the slopes of Mount Kenya. Martin Muriuki took over the farm his father built, switched to organic, and now plays with different ways of processing the beans. This one tastes bright and lemony, with lychee, white peach and a soft honey finish. There’s no actual honey in it. “Honey” is the name of the drying method, and it makes the cup sweeter.
Come have a taste 🤎
