With the slogan for a healthy diet & planet, this celebration presents a unique opportunity to raise public awareness about pulses & the fundamental role they play in the transformation to more efficient, inclusive, resilient & sustainable agrifood systems for better production, better nutrition, a better environment, & a better life, leaving no one behind.
Our Pulses are from , the family business of Stavros & Panagiotis Alexakis from Trilofos, Thessaloniki, which was built on their pure passion for agriculture. The family has been engaged in the production of agricultural products for four generations.
Horafi (cho-rá-fi) in Greek means field, but for them, it is much more than that. It is an idea, it is the heritage passed down from their fathers & forefathers. It is all the small things they do every day in order to create high-quality products with the utmost respect for the environment. They focus on the cultivation of Greek varieties in the fertile land of Central & West Macedonia.
