Florian has been with us since 2015, starting at Fou Fow Ramen before becoming co-owner of Fou Fow Udon five years later. He’s still on the floor with us today, and his go-to order is always Zaru Udon with chicken katsu on the side.

Lazy gyoza with Fow 🥟 Because homemade gyoza doesn’t have to be complicated.

You’ll need:
🥟 Gyoza wrappers
🥩 Minced meat
🌱 Spring onion
🧄 Garlic + ginger
🥢 Soy sauce + pepper

Fill, pan-fry, add a splash of water and finish with a little oil for that crispy bottom.

Serve with soy sauce + vinegar and that’s it. Perfect for lazy people like Fow 😂

It all started with Fou Fow Ramen, and in 2019 we decided to bring our love for Japanese noodles one step further with Fou Fow Udon. 🍜 Just a short walk apart, two Fou Fow spots with their own kind of noodles.

An onsen tamago - a Japanese-style poached egg with a soft, silky yolk - is the perfect optional addition to your udon. In Japan, it’s loved for the creamy texture and rich flavour it adds to the warm noodles and broth. Our Fou Fow Udon and Niku Udon come with an onsen tamago by default, but you can always add one to your favourite udon too! 🍜🥚
