When we reopen, give our Sichuan Style Udon (dry) a try - topped with minced beef, bok choy, peanuts, and fresh coriander. Our house-made chili oil is served on the side, so you can customize the heat just the way you like it. 🌶️🍜

Before every bowl of udon is served at Fou Fow Udon, the noodles are carefully drained using a traditional Japanese noodle strainer called a “tebo” (てぼ). 🇯🇵

This special hand-held strainer helps remove excess water quickly while keeping the noodles smooth, bouncy, and at the perfect texture before entering the bowl. By doing this, the broth stays rich and full of flavor without being diluted.

Small details like this are part of the Japanese noodle culture we bring to every bowl at Fou Fow Udon.
