Today is the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste and for us the perfect moment to highlight a few of our initiatives, here at The Grand.
Swipe through to discover how we’re working towards a more sustainable future, one bite at a time:
1. Too Good To Go: Through our partnership with Too Good To Go, surplus breakfast items are turned into Surprise Boxes, giving perfectly good food a second chance and helping to reduce unnecessary waste.
2. The Grand Honey: Our rooftop beehives are home to around 30,000 bees, producing honey that is used throughout our culinary offerings while supporting local biodiversity. 🐝
3. Bread & Butter Pudding: Croissants and viennoiserie left over from breakfast and Afternoon Tea are lovingly transformed into our homemade Bread & Butter Pudding. A simple way to turn leftovers into something delicious.
4. Garden Harvest: Fruit and herbs grown in our own garden are incorporated into seasonal dishes, desserts and cocktails, bringing fresh, local flavours straight to the table. 🍑
Together, small steps can create big change. 🌱
Will you help us make every bite count?
