Een groot en gezellig café aan de Amstel voor ontbijt, lunch en diner. Inside, high-ceilinged spaces make an attractive setting for the bar and restaurant.

Café de Jaren, open since 1990, is a bright and spacious café located in the centre of Amsterdam, between Muntplein and the Amsterdam Music Theatre on Waterlooplein. And at the back, the first-floor balcony and sunny canal-side terrace on the Kloveniersburgwal offer views across the River Amstel. With its own jetty, the café can also be visited by boat.

Winter came to Amsterdam.. and so it is finally time to serve our (typical) Dutch PEA SOUP! The best way to warm up after a nice walk in the city 💚🍲.

This soup (erwtensoep) has been around since the Middle Ages and our Dutch grand parents used to eat it after they went ice skating in the winter! It’s nutritious, full of flavour and warms you from the inside and out :). Come by to get your bowl and enjoy an original Dutch dish with us!
