Saturday night bachelorette party for a bride-to-be and her six friends, who organized a cooking workshop for her, where we made spanakopitakia and moussaka, right before they fly to Greece, where the wedding will take place. 😍

Cooking workshop season has begun, because what is cozier than being in the kitchen than bonding with your colleagues over food?
Last evening's team was from Elsevier, and we made a fully gluten free meal: kolokythokeftedes (the gluten-free version, with maizena) chicken kléftiko, a large salad and chocolate-Greek yogurt mousse.
Because at some point everyone was too full to move, we made the next-door neighbors happy with the leftovers. 😊

For her 41st birthday last evening, Ilse treated her friends to homemade Greek food, and a certain Greek cook was there to take care of everything for the group of 10.
From dips (beetroot, aubergine & tzatziki) to spanakópita to moussaka and yiouvetsi, and to orange pie for dessert, all the classics were there, to bring smiles to the guests' faces.

Tiropitakia, spanakopitakia, savory muffins with dried figs-caramelized onions-feta, and sweet potato-corn-feta quiches. All the favorites were there!😋

Even if your birthday was months ago, you can always gather your family to celebrate it, right?

Last evening's cooking workshop at Olivity was for a family of six, who wanted to make spanakopitakia, chicken lemonato and dark-chocolate & Greek-yogurt mousse, plus a huge green salad.

A lovely evening, reminiscent of the Greek summer. 😊
