The Pantry

Traditional and homemade dishes from the Dutch kitchen! Furnished with wooden tables and chairs, the interior is what the Dutch would describe as "gezellig".
(1312)

A cosy atmosphere created by dim lighting and Old Dutch paintings. Reflecting the culture of decorating the room with old things, it seems more like a Dutch living room than diner. The Panty is specialised in traditional Dutch dishes. These include 'Herring' as well as 'Stamppotten;' a mashed potato dish mixed with vegetables and sausages or meatballs. We also offer an extensive w**e list from different countries, the red w**e displayed on a w**e rack. Your waiter brings you your choice of w**e, giving you a quick taster before pouring it into your glass. Located in the busy streets of Leidseplein, it is advised to book a table as it can get busy. During the summer it's possible to sit in the small terrace with your choice of company. The Pantry is overall an ideal restaurant for you to stop for a traditional Dutch dinner the Dutch also come to enjoy, satisfying your appetite before hitting the town for a night of fun
