Mr Tong’s was founded back in 1948 by the great uncle of the current owner. We have turned into a new path to culinary grooviness. Our restaurant surprises people. The first-time visitor may be pleasantly surprised by our devotion to attentiveness — and by the delightful collision of authenticity and adventure that is our kitchen. Our palette is pan-Asian, drawing from Szechuan, Cantonese, Thai and Indonesian influences. Our art is to take the delicate elements of taste, and combine them with love. If we can do that, then we’re making the world a slightly better place. There’s mix of quirky characters who keep our place buzzing, and they’ll all work real hard to keep you happy — including your host, Mr Wai Wong.
