CHINA × JAPAN, IN ONE CUP 🍃

What happens when two of the world’s most refined tea cultures meet at the same table?

On 10.10.26, YIN CHA × BAISA come together in Rotterdam for a special Chinese × Japanese Tea experience.

We’ll taste 6 teas side by side, beginning with four green teas from China and Japan, exploring how different processing methods create completely different expressions of aroma, sweetness, umami and texture.

Then, an unexpected pairing:
Chinese Yellow Tea × Japanese Hojicha.

Different traditions. Different techniques. Surprising connections.

This is not just a tasting. It’s a guided workshop to understand how origin, craftsmanship and processing reveal themselves in the cup.

YIN CHA × ARCATYPE / AMSTERDAM FASHION WEEK 2026

This September, YIN CHA joins ARCATYPE’s A Space For Time, presented as part of Amsterdam Fashion Week.

Among designers, makers and creative voices, we bring artisan Chinese tea into the space through a dedicated tea bar, inviting visitors to slow down and experience tea through origin, craftsmanship and ritual.

Tea, much like design, is shaped by material, maker and time.

We’re delighted to share Chinese tea culture within a space celebrating craft, character and care.

The exhibition runs until 20 September.

Tea. Breath. Sound. Stillness.

On 12 September, we come together for a morning where Chinese tea ceremony, meditation and the timeless sound of the Guzheng move as one.

Through Gong Fu Cha, we slow down with each infusion.
Through meditation, we return to the body and the present moment.
Through the ancient strings of the Guzheng, we enter a landscape of mountains, water and stillness.

Inspired by the changing of the seasons, this journey is an invitation to pause, listen inwardly, and make space for what is beginning to emerge.

We’re excited to partner with to host a Chinese Tea Ceremony at their very first café in Amsterdam Oud-West.

Join us for an immersive evening where you will:

- Explore the history of Chinese tea and its rich cultural traditions

What a journey it’s been again this year at . Three incredible days filled with great energy, a lot of tea and inspiring conversations.
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by, whether you chatted with us, tasted with us, or simply shared the moment. We’re truly grateful to be part of such an amazing community of passionate coffee roasters (and yes, we love coffee just as much our tea). See you next year!

… we’re coming back!

Last year was such a wild and wonderful ride for us—sharing our teas at ACF and feeling all the love from coffee lovers (yes, you surprised us in the best way!).

And guess what? We’re doing it all over again.
From April 16-18, come join us for another little tea adventure—right in the middle of some of the best coffee you’ll ever find. We’re bringing along some extra-special collections this time, crafted especially for the flavor curious and the taste explorers.
